Lisa Shepherd Returns For "10 Years Younger"
We saw a blast of amazing transformations and the quest to discover whether you need surgery to take off the years!
In each programme 1 volunteer goes under the knife, sampling every cosmetic enhancement trick known to man; while the other will opt for the surgery free route – which means no knifes, needles or surgical procedures of any kind – relying instead on the fundamental’s of good grooming: fabulous hair and make-up combined with fashion tips and styling tricks from some of the fashion elites most revered stylists.
As with season’s past Lisa is heads up the hair colour side of the glam squad; as part of her role as resident Colour Expert she is reviving participants tired locks with vibrant yet natural colour choices that will flatter their skin-tone and of course leave them looking 10 Years Younger.
Of her position in the show Lisa says: “The wrong hair colour can literally add years onto your age and often people have the wrong hair colour for years because they are just used to what they see in the mirror and don’t know how to change it or what to change it to. I hope through this new series of 10 Years Younger I will show that you don’t need to be afraid of colour and that you can adapt trends to suit you – but keep your hair looking modern, fresh and beautiful!’
Lisa Shepherd has broken all colour boundaries over the duration of her eighteen year career, demonstrating time and time again an unrivalled skill and precision in her work. Amongst her numerous and prestigious accolades, Lisa has been named British Hairdresser of the Year (2005), British Colourist of the Year three times (2005, 2004 & 2003) and was awarded Fellowship Hair Ambassador of the Year (2007) http://www.channel4.com/programmes/10-years-younger/articles/lisa-shepherd-profile-and-hair-colour-tips
