Emma goes back to school

Yesterday I took a trip down memory lane to visit Hagley RC school... I didn't attend Hagley RC but the smell of the corridors and the teachers telling the students to be quiet brought it all back!

I had been asked by Anne Daniel, EBP Adviser for Worcestershire Education Business Partnership if I would like to talk at a careers lesson about my career so far and working for Lisa Shepherd. I was sat at the front of the classroom waiting for my turn to speak, which was very nerve racking, but once I was up and engaging with the students it was great. I re-called my school days, Uni days and those first steps on the career ladder - then to the present day and my position at Lisa Shepherd Salons. I hope the students could feel the passion and enthusiasm I have to succeed and achieve my goals.

As I said to the students this isn't just a job for me it is a way of life!
