LISA LOVES…MFW

MFWAlberta Ferretti (top left) showed off some beautiful hair at Milan fashion week as well as Givenchy Paris (top right) which similarly went for the subtle two-shade look.

 

Acne (below two images) are also great examples of this 70’s hippy rebirth and tough biker inspired city chic hair – with a beautiful fusion from dark to light through the lengths.

 

A centre parting really shows this look off and as you can see, you can work with any base colour to capture the trend.

maggie - merylThink of Margaret Thatcher and you conjure a very clear image.  Maggie was an accomplished power dresser and that honey coloured coif of hers was a clever contradiction of soft feminine waves and immoveable military precision. Tailored suits, serious handbags, vintage brooches and beautiful blowdry’s are all making there way back into the collective consciousness and I love it!
