LISA LOVES - TOP KNOTS

Not only are Top Knots a really cool party style to take us through the upcoming party season - they are also on trend for 2011 -  a slighly sleeker version of this look was seen this week at New York Fashion week at the Christian Siriano show.  So how do you do it?

• First get some texture in your hair - use crimpers to crimp random sections - this will give you the bulk you need.
• Apply some texturising powder to the root - we love Clynol Powder Punch
• Tip your head upside down and grab all your hair into a pony tail to sit high on your crown and secure with a band
• Put your head back up the right way and loosen off the pony slightly so it isn't scraped too tightly back
• Take the pony and wrap around the band using pins to secure as you go
• For this look do not worry if you get ends sticking out!
• Give it a quick spray with a light hold hairspray - Clynol Uphold is great!
