Tim Scott-Wright

Tim Scott-Wright is Artistic Director at Lisa Shepherd Salons and last year became a Director of Lisa Shepherd Birmingham – responsible for the day to day running of Lisa’s brand new flagship salon.

Tim joined the company six years ago with a huge local following and broad experience gained from his time with a large salon group. In 2005 he won the title of MIDLANDS HAIRDRESSER OF THE YEAR and successfully defended this title for three years running!

At 30, Tim is an innovative young hairdresser with a great eye for how hair falls and has, what some would call, magic hands! His clients are varied, but all say the same…. They wouldn’t have anyone else! His cutting skills mirror the colouring skills of Lisa Shepherd perfectly, which is why he was an obvious choice to work alongside Lisa.

“I love creating great hair cuts that work for the client, I am always asked if I have a signature style, and the answer is NO! All women are different and I adapt what I do to suit the client in front of me at the time. There is little point of trying to be a successful hairdresser if you only do one look!!”

That said Tim does have a style about him, modern, changeable, but always totally suited to the client’s hair and lifestyle. “I love to change a client’s look regularly, I am not a hairdresser who has clients who have had the same look for 20 years!” says Scott-Wright.

Tim’s potential was seen at the early age of 19 when he was short-listed for Newcomer of the Year, at the British Hairdressing Awards. He has been a finalist in the British Hairdressing Awards for the last 5 years and is the current Midlands Hairdresser of the Year.

In 2005 he was also a member of the prestigious F.A.M.E. team - a renowned team that has been a springboard for many of our UK hairdressing stars.
Fully booked in the salon 3 months ahead, plus ever increasing magazines shoots, seminars and shows, this has been an exciting year for Tim and looks set to continue.
